MicroD provides web-based Sales, Marketing and eCommerce solutions and services to retailers, manufacturers and suppliers in the furniture industry both in the US and in Europe. MicroD's branded PreVue and ePreVue solutions have a long reputation as the best technology solutions in the US to visually present furniture products both on the desktop as well as on the Internet. MicroD's web solutions include a complete website building and hosting platform, online custom order configurator and shopping cart, online room planner and Internet-based EDI. These solutions enable retailers to build engaging websites, and present home furnishings products, appliances, electronics, and accessories online. Additionally retailers and manufacturers exchange EDI transactions with their trading partners over the web using MicroD's EXIM platform. Utilizing MicroD's comprehensive web solutions for building websites (ePiphany), online product presentation and visualization (ePreVue), electronic transactions exchange (Exim Commerce), catalog creation and catalog syndication (MPCat), manufacturers and retailers are leveraging the power of Business-to-Business eCommerce and increasing revenues while reducing costs.

MicroD, Inc. was founded in 1993. In July 2003, MicroD merged with Exim Technologies, a leading B2B software and services company that developed its flagship web-based product named Exim Commerce for exchanging EDI transactions over the Internet.

In 2009 MicroD introduced its new ePiphany product as a comprehensive platform for building and hosting websites. Uniquely positioned as the only platform in the industry that facilitates configurable and non-configurable product presentation on the web, the ePiphany platform provides seamless integration between the browsing, shopping and room planning. Utilizing ePreVue's robust Search Engine Optimization to draw more web traffic, hundreds of retailers and manufacturers are able to realize the power of the Internet and leverage eCommerce to their advantage.

MicroD currently provides catalogs from over 400 leading manufacturers such as Bassett, Century, Drexel Heritage, Ethan Allen, Hooker, Klaussner, La-Z-Boy, and Lexington to name a few. Today over 2,500 PreVue, ePreVue and ePiphany licenses are installed for furniture retailers, suppliers and manufacturers throughout United States and Europe, that use these catalogs.

Exim Commerce facilitates the exchange of business documents such as orders, order acknowledgements, shipping notices and invoices between retailers and manufacturers. Over 650 manufacturers are connected through Exim Commerce. Hundreds of leading retailers such as Ashley, Bassett, Mathis Brothers, American Furniture Warehouse, etc. currently use EXIM Commerce to exchange over 50,000 documents per day.

MicroD has its US offices in Charlotte, North Carolina (Headquarters) and Hickory, North Carolina, USA. In addition, MicroD has development offices in Czech Republic and in India and sales offices in the UK and Czech Republic.
