Over the last 14 months, the MicroD team has been working excitedly and diligently to produce the first and best user conference for our retail and manufacturing clients. As many of you know, we surveyed clients over the last several years and received an overwhelming response to attend the users’ conference. When we announced the conference, we were excited to have the support of our clients and industry partners. The journey has been an exciting one for all of us at MicroD as we worked with industry and tech leaders like Google and FitForCommerce to develop the content for this DRIVE Conference.
As you may be aware, North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper declared a State of Emergency on March 10 due to growing concerns regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19). In addition, many organizations have been placed on travel bans to prevent further exposure. The team at MicroD has been monitoring the situation closely as the DRIVE Conference approaches.
In order to prioritize the safety of our team members, clients, and partners we have made the difficult decision to postpone and reschedule the DRIVE Conference.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our clients and partners and want to thank you all for your interest in participating in our first user conference. It’s with your support that we will be taking this time to continue monitoring the situation and make plans for a future date to reschedule the event for our clients and attendees.
This news comes after much deliberation and heavy hearts from the whole team at MicroD. We have not made this decision lightly, as we’re sure many are also reviewing similar decisions with other industry and regional events. But with your help, we will continue to move forward with the DRIVE Conference at a date to-be-determined.
Stay tuned for more DRIVE Conference updates as they develop by signing up for the conference newsletter.
